I think I wrote my first privacy policy in 1992, before the world wide web was a thing. Some of what we built at Yoyodyne was copied and copied and spread, and I imagine that a few of the phrases we pioneered are part of many corporation’s policies. At the heart of it, though, is the goal of treating people the way we’d like to be treated. With some help from claude.ai, here’s a written privacy policy for anyone who buys an audiobook from us.

At DO YOU ZOOM, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our audiobook service.

We (or more specifically, our partners) collect the following types of information:

  • Payment information (processed securely through Stripe)

It’s worth noting that Do You Zoom is not planning to access any of the data we don’t need to simply create and deliver the audiobooks. No analytics, no cross correlations, nothing that would make an MBA happy. It’s yours, here you go. That’s the only thing we’re doing, and we’ll update this page if it changes.

  • We use Stripe and Supportingcast.com for payment processing and content delivery. They have access to relevant data to perform these services.
  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
  • We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.
