Just over five years ago, I decided to move forward with an idea I’d had since the dawn of podcasting–a podcast that would be determined by the medium itself–not a radio talk show moved into a new medium, nor a blog or even a book. Instead, a podcast that could only exist as a podcast.

More than 250 episodes later, Akimbo has been heard by millions of people in more than 100 countries. It’s regularly in the top 200 of all podcasts in its category.

Here, for the first time, is volume 1 of The Best of Akimbo. It’s five episodes, no QA, no ads, simply my producer’s pick for about two hours’ worth of podcasting goodness.
